Do ARTISTRY® products contain Gluten?

The simple answer is that Artistry products contain gluten, unless specified otherwise. Many starting materials for ingredients may be of gluten origin, however, have likely been thoroughly denatured in order for formulation preparation. Although most formulas do not contain directly added gluten ingredients or derivatives, we cannot guarantee that traces will not exist in the product. This is due to a number of reasons including manufacture in the same facilities that manufacture gluten-containing products.

Several oat ingredients and derivatives may be present in Artistry ingredients and will be labelled as follows: Colloidal Oatmeal, Hydrolysed Oats, Oat Protein, Oat Bran, Avena sativa, Oat Kernal Extract and Oat Fibre.

The type of reaction really varies with each individual. Some may have a reaction due to contact allergy, whereas others may not be affected at all. Some are more hypersensitive than others.
