Amway carefully selects ingredients to be used in its cosmetic products by considering both safety and efficacy of ingredients. Many animal derived ingredients have longstanding use in the cosmetic industry and are contained in some Amway produced cosmetic products, although we continuously seek to reduce their use whenever safe and effective alternatives are possible. These ingredients are reviewed thoroughly by our scientists and follow the regulatory requirements of the country they are marketed in. Also, special consideration is given regarding the use of animal derivatives in certain markets due to local religious customs and practices
