What ARTISTRY® products can I recommend for Acne?

Artistry doesn’t have a product range specific to acne.  However, we have product that might assist in improving the skin prone to breakouts and excess oil.

The Skin Nutrition system is very gentle on all skin types.  Many oily, acne prone skin produce excess oil because the skin is dehydrated.  The skin is dry on the surface often due to using harsh, drying products or the lack of moisture and the oil glands think it is dry so produce more oil.  Having a gentle cleanser, toner and moisturiser will help regulate the skin.  I recommend the Hydrating Gel Cream as it is oil free and assists to lower the temperature in the skin often experienced in oily skin.

The Intensive Skincare Renewing Peel is an essential product.  Used twice a week, it dissolves the glue-like substance holding the dead skin cells together.  Often the dead skin cells form a barrier over the skin that cause blocked pores.

Intensive Skincare Advanced Skin Refinisher is another essential product.  Containing a patented oat extract, it assists in exfoliating the skin’s surface area to unclog pores and smooth away roughness.  It strengthens the pore walls and helps to suppress excess sebum production, down to the core of the pore.  Use the Advanced Skin Refinisher twice a day morning and night after cleansing and toning and before the Skin Nutrition Hydration Gel Cream.  Don’t use the Advanced Skin Refinisher directly after the Intensive Skincare Renewing Peel.  E.g.  if using the Renewing Peel in the evening, only use the Skin Refinisher in the morning that day.

Special Care Deep Cleansing Mask can be used at least twice a week to draw out impurities, dee cleanse and absorb excess oil deposits.

Special Care Anti-Blemish Treatment can be used as frequently as required on blemishes to help treat existing breakouts and help prevent future ones.  It contains Salicylic Acid to exfoliate and unblock pores.  This helps prevent future clogging which helps blemishes heal and new ones from forming.
