Do ARTISTRY® products contain Parabens?

Parabens currently used in Amway products are permitted and approved for use as preservatives by regulatory authorities. Amway actively monitors the scientific review of parabens by various regulatory authorities around the world so that we meet the guidelines; we use only authorized parabens in our products. In its latest opinion, the European Scientific Committee for Consumer Safety (SCCS) has confirmed the use of linear parabens (methyl paraben, ethyl paraben, propyl paraben and butyl paraben) as safe when they meet the authorized established levels.

Amway regards the health and safety of our customers and the environment in which we live to be of paramount importance.  To that end, every ingredient included in our products is carefully considered to assure that it meets our high standards of safety and effectiveness.

The ingredients in all of our products are considered safe for the intended use by appropriate government agencies, independent scientific review and the best available resources that our scientists can consult.  Amway products contain only those ingredients that are classified and labeled according to regulations in the country in which they are marketed.

Amway will continue to monitor the scientific findings on the use of parabens and will update our policy as appropriate.
