Why do some ARTISTRY products have overlabels on them?
Most of our ARTISTRY products are manufactured for global use and from time to time local regulations make it is necessary to overlabel some ARTISTRY products with stickers. The two most common reasons for over-labeling are SPF claims and branding.
SPF claims
When it comes to SPF claims, our ANZ sun screen testing standards, AS: NZS 2604 (2012) is very strict compared to some markets which means that where claims of SPF 30 UVA/UVB are accepted in most markets globally, in ANZ these formulas do not pass the stringent tests to be able to claim SPF 30 but they do pass the tests to claim SPF 15 UVA / UVB. As a result we need to over label these types of products in our market.
Branding
Occasionally our packaging will reference Nutrilite branding or ingredients and as Nutrilite is marketed as Nutriway in ANZ, these references need to be overlabeled with the Nutriway branding.
In circumstances where overlabeling needs to be done, it requires the removal of the outer plastic wrapping but you can rest assured that other than the cartons, the products are not opened or quality compromised in any way. We know you will love the products ARTISTRY has to offer, in fact we guarantee it!
