Are g&h™ products pH-balanced?
All g&h formulas (except bar soaps) have been formulated to be slightly acidic, just like skin. A pH number measures how acidic or alkaline something is; a pH of 7 or above (the scale tops out at 14) is alkaline, or basic, while a pH below 7 is acidic. The pH of skin is around 5.5, making it slightly acidic. (To maintain efficacy, g&h bar soaps have a slightly higher pH, closer to 9 or 10.)
